The Staff Selection Commission (SSC) has released the official Combined Graduate Level (CGL) Examination 2025 notification to recruit 14,582 candidates for Group B and Group C posts in various central government ministries, departments, and organizations.
The online application process started on 9th June 2025 and will remain open until 4th July 2025. Candidates holding a bachelor's degree are eligible to apply.

Eligibility Criteria (as on 1st August 2025):
Educational Qualifications:
- Assistant Audit Officer/Assistant Accounts Officer: Bachelor’s degree in any discipline. Desirable – CA/CMA/CS/M.Com/MBA (Finance).
- Junior Statistical Officer (JSO): Graduation with at least 60% in Mathematics at the 12th level or a degree with Statistics as a subject.
- Statistical Investigator Grade-II: Graduate degree with Statistics as one of the subjects.
- Research Assistant (NHRC): Graduate degree and one year of research experience.
- Other Posts: Bachelor's degree in any discipline.
Age Limit (varies by post):
- Level 4 posts (e.g., Tax Assistant, Postal Assistant): 18–27 years
- Level 5 posts (e.g., Auditor, Accountant): 18–27 years
- Level 6 posts (e.g., ASO, Sub Inspector): 18–30 years
- Level 7 posts (e.g., Income Tax Inspector, AEO): 18–30 years
- Junior Statistical Officer: 18–32 years
Age relaxation applies as per government rules.
Pay Levels:
- Pay Level 4: ₹25,500 – ₹81,100
- Pay Level 5: ₹29,200 – ₹92,300
- Pay Level 6: ₹35,400 – ₹1,12,400
- Pay Level 7: ₹44,900 – ₹1,42,400
- Additional benefits: HRA, DA, TA, and other allowances as per central government norms.

- General/OBC: ₹100
- Women/SC/ST/PwBD/ESM: Exempted
