JKSSB Advertisement Notification No. 04 of 2025: 16 Vacancies Announced for Lieutenant Governor’s Secretariat, Jammu & Kashmir

The Jammu and Kashmir Services Selection Board (JKSSB) has issued Advertisement Notification No. 04 of 2025 for recruitment to 16 vacancies under the UT/Divisional Cadre posts in the Lieutenant Governor’s Secretariat, Jammu & Kashmir. The recruitment process will be conducted as per the details outlined below.

Application Details
The online application process will commence on 8th May 2025. The last date for submission of online applications is 6th June 2025.
Candidates must refer to Annexure-A for information regarding the name of the post, cadre, pay level, category-wise break-up, qualification, and selection criteria. Certificate regarding physical limitation to write and the letter of undertaking for using a scribe can be found in Annexure-B and Annexure-C respectively.
Terms and Conditions
1. Appointment of Candidates
The appointment and other service conditions for selected candidates will be governed according to the existing rules and regulations.
2. Domicile Requirement
Applicants must be domiciles of the Union Territory of Jammu & Kashmir. A valid domicile certificate issued by the competent authority must be submitted in the prescribed format on or before the last date of online application submission, which is 6th June 2025.
3. Vacancies
The details of the advertised posts are provided in Annexure-A of the notification. However, the number of posts may increase or decrease depending on the circumstances before the completion of the selection process. JKSSB will not be legally liable for any changes in the number of posts advertised.
4. Age Limit
The requirement of age for applying against these posts is determined as of 1st January 2025.
For Open Merit candidates, the maximum age limit is 40 years (born between 1st January 1985 and 1st January 2007).
For Scheduled Caste (SC), Scheduled Tribe I (ST-I), Scheduled Tribe II (ST-II), Resident of Backward Area (RBA), Actual Line of Control/IB (ALC/IB), Economically Weaker Section (EWS), and Other Backward Classes (OBC) categories, the maximum age limit is 43 years (born between 1st January 1982 and 1st January 2007).
For Physically Challenged Persons, the maximum age is 43 years (born between 1st January 1983 and 1st January 2007).
For candidates from Government Service or Contractual Employment, the maximum age is 40 years (born between 1st January 1985 and 1st January 2007).
