H&ME Department / The Government Medical College (GMC) in Srinagar, Jammu, and Kashmir, has recently announced the minimum qualification of 4757 new Non- Gazetted and Class IV posts. These positions are a significant step towards strengthening the healthcare infrastructure in the region and ensuring the provision of quality medical services to the people. With the creation of these posts, the GMC Srinagar has also formulated specific recruitment rules to ensure a fair and transparent selection process. The newly created posts are divided into two categories: non Gazetted and Class IV. The non Gazetted posts include various administrative, technical, and medical positions, while the Class IV posts encompass support staff roles. The eligibility criteria for each category are defined as follows:

Non - Gazetted Posts: Candidates applying for Gazetted posts must possess the required educational qualifications, professional degrees, and experience as specified for each position. These positions are open to individuals with a proven track record in their respective fields.
Class iv Posts : Qualification / 10th, 12th, Graduation / No bar on upper Education

a. Advertisement: The GMC Srinagar will issue an official advertisement detailing the newly created posts, their classifications, eligibility criteria, and other essential information.
