New School Timings Announced for Kashmir Division, Effective October 3

Srinagar, September 30, 2025 — The Directorate of School Education Kashmir (DSEK) has officially revised the school timings for all government and private educational institutions across the Kashmir Division. The new timings will come into effect from October 03, 2025.

According to the announcement:

• Schools within the Srinagar Municipal limits will now operate from 9:00 AM to 3:00 PM.

• Schools outside municipal limits and those located in other districts will function from 10:00 AM to 4:00 PM.

The DSEK has emphasized strict adherence to the revised schedule and has issued a warning that any deviation from the new timings will be dealt with seriously.

This decision aims to streamline school operations across different regions and ensure uniformity in academic hours.
