RRB ALP 2025 Notification Out for 9970 Assistant Loco Pilot Vacancies – Application Process begins on 12 April
The Ministry of Railways has released the official short notification for the recruitment of Assistant Loco Pilots (ALP) under various Railway Recruitment Boards (RRBs). A total of 9970 ALP posts are available across India.

- No. of Posts: 9970
- Pay Level: Level 2 as per 7th CPC
- Initial Pay: ₹19,900/month
Eligibility Criteria:
Educational Qualification:
- 10th Pass (Matriculation)
- ITI or Diploma in relevant engineering disciplines from recognized institutions
Age Limit:
- 18 to 30 years as on 01 July 2025
- Age relaxation applicable for SC/ST/OBC/PwBD as per government norms

- Register using a valid email ID and mobile number
- Fill the application form and upload required documents
- Pay the application fee online
- Submit the form and download a copy for future reference
Application Fee:
- General/OBC/EWS: ₹500
- SC/ST/PwBD/Female: ₹250
Fee is to be paid online and is non-refundable.

- Computer Based Test (CBT) – Stage 1
