Department of Rural Development and Panchayat Raj Recruitment 2024: The Department of Rural Development and Panchayat Raj has invited applications in the prescribed format Annexed as “A”, are invited from permanent residents of the Union Territory of Jammu & Kashmir for Contractual engagement as Watershed Development Team Members (WDTs), Data Entry Operator (DEO) and Multitasking Staff (MTS) for Project Implementing Agency (PIA) for District Baramulla for implementation of the projects of Integrated Watershed Management Programme (IWMP), under WDC-PMKSY 2.0.

The selected candidate shall be paid a fixed remuneration of Rs. 15,000/- only per month for WDTs, Rs. 9,375 only for Data Entry Operators, and MTS shall be paid as per minimum wage norms. Eligibility Criteria of Department of Rural Development and Panchayat Raj Recruitment 2024

WDT (Agriculture and Allied Subjects) Agriculture Graduate

WDT (Soil and Water Management) Civil/Agricultural Engineering graduate

WDT (Social Mobilization) Masters Degree in Sodal Work or Rural Development

Data Entry Operator (DEO) Graduation with one year Diploma in Computer Applications or B. Sc. IT/BCA or three year diploma in Computer application/Software application.

MTS Minimum 10 pass and maximum 12th pass.

The candidate must be a domicile of the District for which he/she is applying. If the candidate with the desired qualification is not available in the concerned district, the candidate of the adjacent district can be considered.

Age Limit

The Age limit for the engagement of Watershed Development Team Members and others under WDC-PMKSY 2.0 shall be fixed as per the prevailing Govt. Rules of the Jammu and Kashmir.
