Jammu University Eligibility Criteria & Salary —

1) Junior Engineer (Civil) — 02 Posts

  • – Qualification: Diploma/B.Tech in Civil Engineering.
  • – Salary: Rs. 35,400 – 1,12,400/-


2) Semi-Professional Assistant — 04 Posts

  • – Qualification: Graduate with Bachelors in Library Science.
  • – Salary: Rs. 35,400 – 1,12,400/-


3) Lab. Assistant (Geography) — 01 Posts

  • – Qualification: M.Sc in Concerned subject.
  • – Salary: Rs. 35,400 – 1,12,400/-

4) Data Entry Operator — 14 Posts

  • – Qualification: BCA/Graduation in any discipline with PGDCA Or Bachelor’s Degree including B.E/B.Tech in Computer Science/IT shall be considered as equivalent to BCA for ascertaining the eligibility for the said post.). One year Diploma in Computer Science/Applications or equivalent after graduation in any discipline and/or Master of Computer Application (M.C.A) or equivalent after graduation in any discipline shall also be considered equivalent to “graduation in any discipline with PGDCA” for ascertaining the eligibility for the said post.
  • – Salary: Rs. 29,200 – 92,300/-


5) Steno Typist — 05 Posts

  • – Qualification: Graduation and have a minimum speed of 60 w.p.m in shorthand and 40 w.p.m in typing.
  • – Salary: Rs. 29,200 – 92,300/-


6) Junior Assistant — 15 Posts

  • – Qualification: Graduation with a computer typing speed 40 w.p.m in typing.
  • – Salary: Rs. 29,200 – 81,100/-


7) Section Cutter(Geology) — 01 Post

  • – Qualification: Middle pass with certificate course from ITI Or Middle pass with skill in the trade.
  • – Salary: Rs. 16,900 – 53,500/-

An application fee of Rs. 1,070/- has to be paid through the recruitment portal payment gateway.
